Episode 5 Executive Statement – Strong
Our current climate is clouded not only with the COVID-19 pandemic, but also with a systemic racist epidemic, that Is simply pathetic.
The tone is set, and we’d like to acknowledge everyone who has experienced difficulty, lost of life, or even loss of direction in such a negative space.
Togetherness and promotion of spreading love through creativity is an ongoing mission for MooHub. hatred, discrimination or fostered ignorance is not a part of that.
It kills an already dwindling environment in which we are all connected to. As Abraham Heschel once stated; racism is mans gravest threat to man – the maximum of hatred for a minimum of reason.
To the black community and all who experience racial injustice and the atrocities of heightened ignorance; we stand with you. To the police or individuals that think this behavior is somewhat acceptable, or can be explained. I want you to know “a loving person lives in a loving world. A hostile person lives in a hostile world. Everyone you meet is your mirror”, in the words of Ken Keyes Jr.
The Law or any action should not be adjusted according to the color of our skin, and is not set to be. But the laws of racism as it relates to the facts of American history are complex to say the least.
Though George Floyd may hit a chord for our current emotions; but there are too many names to mention, too many hearts to heal, and too many struggles to address.
We hope that this episode provides you with a sense of levity as we put our minds together to find a way to truly start addressing this problem that has gone on for far too long.
Our team will be sharing messages throughout this episode to help guide you through your feelings and hopefully further develop an effective mission for your thoughts.
Please join us as we innovate our approach to work towards a society that denies racial inequality, and brutality. Please take a moment of silence as we send love and positive energy to all, and provide them with strength to work harder towards this goal, in solidarity of the millions that have suffered.
