Episode 5 Inclusive Statement – Nisha
The death of Mr George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and sadly many more are being brought to light and are showing us the racial injustices that have and are still taking place. People are really hurting right now and the recent protests in various cities across the United states shows that people are tired of the discrimination, tired of the racial profiling and tired of the police brutality that is taking place.
Martin Luther King once said that “A riot is the language of the unheard” so i ask everyone to and listen up and be aware of what’s going on. Please take this time to reflect not only what the covid pandemic is teaching us how about mother earth but also how we should be treating each other as people. We may all come from different backgrounds, ethnic groups, socio-economic backgrounds etcetera but at the end of the day we are one.
Even the covid pandemic didn’t discriminate amongst any one of us. My point is we are all human and we need each other, let’s rise together and let’s try to come out better as people.
We have to make changes whether that starts in our hearts, homes and communities. Once we come out of this pandemic, how are we all going to come out of it? Better, Stronger or further divided?
We at Moohub do not condone any form of racial injustices and we also like to go back to the highest form of human emotions and that is “Love” so spread love and not hate and let’s make real changes.
Let’s not talk about it but be about it
